BSURE Insurance Brokers 1 (Pty) Ltd (“BSURE Brokers”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. We process your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who we are
BSURE Insurance Brokers 1 (Pty) Ltd is a juristic representative of B-Sure Versekerings Makelaars, an authorised financial services provider (FSP 9469). We are based in Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp, North West Province, South Africa, and we are the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number, if you choose to provide it;
- the content of your message.
If you contact us by telephone or WhatsApp instead, we will have your telephone number and whatever you choose to tell us.
This website does not set tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- where you ask us to, obtain quotations from insurers and arrange or administer cover;
- keep records as required by financial services legislation.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Who else receives it
- Our form delivery provider, Web3Forms. The contact form on this site is delivered by Web3Forms, which transmits your submission to our email inbox. Web3Forms processes the submission on servers located outside South Africa.
- Insurers. Only where you have asked us to obtain a quote or arrange cover, and only the information needed for that purpose.
Cross-border transfer
Because Web3Forms operates outside South Africa, submitting the contact form transfers your information across our borders so that it can reach us. POPIA permits this where you consent to it or where it is necessary to perform a contract with you. By submitting the form, you consent to that transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and then for as long as financial services legislation requires us to retain records. We do not keep information for longer than necessary.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of this website in transit and restricting access to our systems.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may, at any time:
- ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
- ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, misleading or unlawfully obtained;
- object to our processing of your information;
- withdraw any consent you have given;
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
